We got there around 7 each night and left our hotel (Fontainebleau) between 6:30 and 6:45 each night. The lines outside were quick and easy! If you're going to indulge, I'd wait til you get to your seats on the first night as it can be disorienting and overwhelming, but I also think you'd be fine either way.
We went through the outside entrance rather than through Venetian and the bag policy was lax there. I wouldn’t worry too much.
We did all the experience stuff one morning and it was enjoyable but not essential.
It was cool and temp controlled! It was hot in Vegas last weekend and I was glad to have pants on in The Sphere each night. Shorts would’ve been a little chilly for me.
Guy in front of me had about five joints in his hand and they simply said, "You can't smoke those in here" before letting him walk off with them. Like you said, they know what to expect.
We were in section 103, row 20 and we didn’t have any obstruction, no complaints there. As far as overall obstructed views, it didn’t seem like a big issue unless you were beyond row 24 or so.
What would you say the correct dose is for a great sphere experience? Also is the Sphere Deemz friendly?
Wanted to get out there for phish but could not justify spending 4 figures for a single show. Great write up.

Amazing, thanks! I'm going in July in section 306, row 8. But I want to catch another show that weekend and it appears only 100s are available oddly.
